The Blue Badge

All DGA guides have the Blue Badge. This is as the top qualification in the UK. Visit Britain recognizes us as “Britain’s Official professional Tourist Guides”.

Blue Badge Guides are selected, trained and examined by the Institute of Tourist Guiding or The Scottish Tourist Guides Association.

And it can take up to two years to qualify for a Blue Badge.

And it doesn’t stop once you have the Badge. We do continuous training, and specialist courses and exams to guide you for the 2012 Games tours and the British Museum.
